Yappy Hour at Coconut Joe’s

Yappy Hour is back!!! The next Yappy Hour has been scheduled for Saturday May 24th at Coconut Joe’s on West Bay Road. Just like the original event, this will include a car wash from 10am -2pm and a dog wash from 2pm to 6pm. Coconut Joe’s will be offering drinks specials such as Grrrrrrolsch beer and Pomeranian-itas (pomegranate margaritas)! There will also be a treats for our four legged friends from Pedigree and a special doggie-cake! Z99 will be broadcasting live, helping us to make this the best Yappy Hour yet!

This year the shelter will undergo a large transformation…we are covering the outdoor kennels for the health and safety of our animals. This is proving to be a costly undertaking and this Yappy Hour, we are asking the public to “Help Us Put A Roof Over Their Heads”! Come on down and have your car and your dog washed, or simply come down to see us and make a donation! We appreciate every donation, no matter how large or small.

Shelter Dog Wash

The next shelter dog wash is scheduled for Sunday May 18th at 10:00am at the Humane Society Shelter on North Sound Road. No experience necessary! Our volunteer coordinator has created a program to teach everyone the proper way to wash a dog. Please come down and lend a hand, our animals really do appreciate the attention!!!
